About Us

Prasad Gifts was founded in 1986, by Sandy Magram, a life-long student of natural fragrances and their wide ranging benefits for human health and happiness. During her extensive travels in India, Sandy met with many incense producers searching for a manufacturer whose commitment to purity and quality matched her own.

As fate would have it, her search ended not in India, but here in the United States. In 1986, Sandy was led to a student of eastern mysticism who had established a close friendship with an wonderful Indian family who had for many generations produced exactly the quality incense Sandy had been seeking. Once introduced, Sandy worked closely with this family to develop a unique range of hand rolled fragrances that would appeal to incense lovers everywhere. The result? Prasad Premium Incense.

In 1989, Sandy's husband Jonas, a long time teacher of Transcendental Meditation, joined Prasad Gifts. Working together, Sandra and Jonas created the solid foundation on which the company has continuously grown for the last thirteen years: commitment to giving their customers unsurpassed personal care, commitment to quality, and commitment to using the Company's success to help create a better world.

Now with Einar Olsen and their son Jesse, Sandra and Jonas offer a wide array of premium natural gifts that complement Prasad Incense. These include Angel Flora Incense, Sai Baba Nag Champa Incense, Tibetan pure herbal incense, Eden Botanical Essences, and Native Scent smudge sticks.
